Mantle Lamp Co/Aladdin Model B Tall Washington Drape Oil Lamp

Manufactured between 1941 and 1949, this tall Washington Drape pattern clear glass lamp has a crows foot base, and a carefully designed clear glass shade with grooves on its base that allow it to lock it into position on the burner.

Dimensions: 23 1/2" from base of lamp to top of glass shade.   Lamp w/o shade measures 13" high from base to top of burner.  Shade measures 12".  Base diameter is 6".

Wick control knob marked "Mantle Lamp Co, Nu-Type, Model B, Aladdin, Made in USA, Chicago, IL".  Burner cap is unmarked as is the glass shade.

Condition: used.  Lamp reservoir (fount) appears watertight. There are cracks on the underside of base and one small chip on underside edge.  This is a vintage piece with wear, meant for decorative use only.
