Cobalt Glass Pedestal Oil Lamp with Brass Stem and Marble Base

A beautiful cobalt blue, early American pressed glass, brass and marble lamp dating to around 1860-90, and made in the USA. 

The cobalt oil fount is made from three sections of pressed glass in the Horn of Plenty pattern.  Small bubbles and inclusions from the manufacturing process are visible as expected in glass of this age.

Queen Mary burner. No marking on the wick turner button.

Condition: Good used. Several chips and some discolouration on the double step marble base. Slight misalignment of marble steps where they meet the stem and the embossed brass border.  See photos for details.
