Large Findlay Glass Pedestal Oil Lamp
A large pressed glass pedestal oil lamp made in the 1890's by The Dalzell, Gilmore, and Leighton Company in Findlay, Ohio.
This oil lamp features a six-sided, panelled fount atop a fish scale patterned base.
The oil fount is made from two sections of pressed glass, and small bubbles and inclusions from the manufacturing process are visible.
The lamp has a patented clinch collar, with a Queen Anne #2 burner. The wick control button is marked "Scovill Mfg Co" and "Made in USA".
Condition: Good used. There are a number of circular and straight mould marks to the base. Please see photos for details.
