Ruby Glass Oil Lamp with Milk Glass Base

A delicate Hobbs Brockunier & Co Oil Lamp with a pear-shaped ruby glass oil fount atop a milk glass clover leaf base.

The wick control knob is marked "Banner P & A Mfg, Made in USA".  The brass coupling joining the fount to the base (a clinch coupling) is marked Pat May 24, 1870.

Condition: Good used.  Lamp reservoir is watertight but there is a slight wobble to the metal connector between the fount and the milk glass base.
