This Edwardian match safe / vesta was made in Birmingham, England between 1902-1903 by silversmith William Henry Leather.

The cartouche space, framed by simple floral engraving, is blank - perfect for someone wanting to add their own monogram to this antique piece.

The accompanying 16" chain is white metal - not sterling silver - and is marked on the clasp with IIA.

Condition: Good used.  There is a shallow dent on one side of the case.  The top swings open and closed easily.  Light wear as expected for it's age.
