Prism Patterned Pressed Glass Pedestal Oil Lamp

A lovely small pressed glass oil lamp with prism pattern base and fount, dating from between 1860 - 1880.  

The oil fount is made from three sections of pressed glass, while the stem is made from two sections of pressed glass. Bubbles of various sizes are obvious particularly in the base.

The burner is made of white metal, and the wick winder button is stamped "Scovill Mfg Co, Made in U.S.A.".  The top is marked "White Flame Lamp Co, Grand Rapids Michigan".

Condition: Good used. Wear to underside of base. Large bubbles in base from manufacturing process. See photos.
