Brass Candlestick and Glass Owl and Shield Oil Lamp

Made between 1880 and 1895, this elegant, late-Victorian glass and brass peg lamp features a three piece pressed molded glass fount in an owl and shield pattern and a brass stem and octagonal base.

The underside of the base retains an original factory locking screw associated with manufacture and assembly; this is not a later modification.

Condition: Good used. Glass shade is new. See photos for details.
