CNR Hiram L. Piper Adlake Kero Brakeman's Lantern - 1937

A piece of Canadian history!  This Hiram L. Piper Railway lantern was made in January 1937 and both the lantern top and the clear round glass globe is marked CNR.  It comes complete with an Adlake 250 burner. 

Condition: fair used. Someone applied a lovely green coat of paint to this many years ago and its aged as expected. There are dents, rust, and wear on this hardworking lantern. Note: this is a vintage piece meant for decorative use only.
