CNR Hiram L. Piper Adlake Kero Brakeman's Lantern - 1920's

A piece of Canadian history!  This Canadian National Railway lantern was made between 1921 and 1923 by the Hiram L. Piper Co. Ltd. and has a lovely smooth round amber globe.

The burner is marked Adlake 400. The amber glass globe is stamped near the top with CNX in raised letters, and along the bottom edge with "made in the USA".

Condition: used. Rust is evident. Large chip on the bottom of the globe on one side. Note: this is a vintage piece with wear, meant for decorative use only.
