A piece of Canadian history!  This Hiram Piper Railway lantern was made in 1949 and has a lovely smooth round amber globe.  Interestingly, although the globe is marked, the lantern itself is not marked with a railroad name.

The burner is marked Adlake 400. The clear glass globe is stamped in the middle with CNR.

Condition: used. Some rust and dents plus heavy scratching on a section of the top of this hardworking lantern. Note: this is a vintage piece with wear, meant for decorative use only.
