E. Thomas & Williams Brass Miners Lamp

This solid brass replica miners lamp was made by E. Thomas & Williams in 1984.

Cambrian miner's lamps have been manufactured in Wales for over 130 years. E. Thomas & Williams is the oldest surviving safety lamp manufacturer still trading.

The plate on the front of the lamp hood is marked E. Thomas & Williams Ltd, Makers  Aberdare Wales, Cambrian, No. 133216.  The glass insert is unmarked. The base of the lamp is marked E.T.W., Made in Wales, UK, 1984, and the company trademark.

Condition: Good used. Some corrosion. Internal mesh screen intact.  Note: this is an untested vintage lamp and has the wear expected for its age. See photos for details.
