A proud pair of lion bookends, finished in bronze with a weighted metal and sealed sand base. These are a copy of Frédéric Auguste Bartholdi's the Lion of Belfort monument in Belfort, France. You've likely heard of another of Bartholodi's best known works - the Statue of Liberty!
Condition: Good used. Scratches and patina as expected on a vintage piece, as well as a chip to one lion's nose. See photos for details. Marked Germany EJC 1000.
