Ruby Red Laboratory Flasks

A striking pair of c. 1970s PYREX ruby red laboratory Erlenmeyer flasks, both marked No. 54980, and made by Corning. These are low-actinic / Ray-Sorb style flasks, and their deep colour was designed to help protect light-sensitive materials.

The pair includes one 250 mL flask and one 500 mL flask. With their rich ruby colour, white PYREX markings, and classic scientific form, they display beautifully as vintage laboratory glass, apothecary decor, or an unusual accent for a shelf, desk, studio, or cabinet of curiosities.

Decorative use recommended.
