The Clark Findlay Glass Oil Lamp
This antique pressed glass pedestal oil lamp was made in the 1890's by the Dalzell, Gilmore, and Leighton Company in Findlay, Ohio.
Called The Clark, this model features alternating size vertical cable bands on the fount, atop a fish scale, six-sided base.
The lamp has a patented clinch collar and a Rayo Queen Anne #1 burner. The wick control button marked is marked "Scovill Mfg Co". The glass chimney is marked "Anchor Brand Fire Resisting Heat Proof Foreign".
Condition: Good used. There is a glass "wrinkle" or flaw from a mould mark at the base of the fish scale stem on one side, and two v-shaped scratches to the top of the font near the clinch collar (the inside of the fount is undamaged). Please see photos for details.
